Magical Christian Entertainer Brent Varner
Brent is a Christian entertainer who travels in the South East delighting audiences with his unique story telling, comedy and Illusions. More than just an entertainment, Brent as Professor Poppy uses his programs to present the gospel of Jesus Christ.
It was not until retirement that Brent got his start in Illusion. Starting out at a local elementary school teach kids a science lesson and finish with two illusions every other week. Brent became involved with the Fellowship of Christian Magicians and things started appearing.
Brent took his evangelistic outlook from over 10 years of inter city missions and turned it into a full 1 hour Gospel presentation where the Kids and adults are fully engaged.
Brent continues to work on his skills in performing and ministry through his retirement. He works with local theater productions team and works with many local ministry. He also used his Illusions in ministry while serving as a summer missionary for the Good News Club.
Brent, works as a Christian entertainer in partnership with churches, camps, conferences, and other Christian organizations across the South East.
Statement of Faith
the Bible is the inspired, authoritative Word of God, inerrant in its original manuscripts.
there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
in the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious and atoning death, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal return in power and glory.
that sinful man can only come to God through faith in Jesus Christ.
in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.
in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, they that are saved unto the resurrection of life, and they that are lost to the resurrection of damnation.
in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
Mission Statement
To love God and love people by entertaining them through Gospel illusions. To encourage and inspire a lifelong joyous relationship with Jesus Christ.
